Nice pics Emilio!

Installed a 70mm mass air meter and a monster tach today. Both hand me downs off my dads race car but who cares lol.

Hey fellas I need help ASAP!!!

Im seriously about to take a bat to this white POS. The charging system won't charge, I replaced the alternator, voltage regulator (not externally mounted FYI) and put in a good optima battery. Everything I can find on the internet is super vague about how to troubleshoot it. nothing tells me exactly where I can find the fusible links on the alternator wires.

I'm no electrician, and if anyone could brake it down for me ASAP so i can drive it that would be awesome.

My wifes cobra got the oil changed at my brothers shop yesterday but they didn't fill it back Up!!!! they backed it out of the stall and the motor instantly seized. so just hours later the white LX left me on the side of the freeway because the alternator decided to quit charging.

I fixed the problem btw lol.

But now I've got the go-fast itch in this car and my goal is to get a 12.9x 1/4 or a 8.3x 1/8th pass out of it. I want to do it with stock shortblock, heads, and trans.

I'm thinking the explorer intake, 70 mm TB, an E cam or something similar, roller rockers, electric fan, a good converter, ratchet shifter, some good suspension, drag radials and pull some weight.

Any thoughts?

Gonna have a bottleneck with the e7's. At least get some gt40's on there. 4.10's will help also but take away from the daily driver part of it.

So in the next few days I'll be swapping my porno red interior for a smoke grey interior. Huge thanks to Calypsocoupe for the hookup! :) going to see 87_notchfox soon to pick up the rest of the stuff I need. I also ordered new hatch carpet, a shorty antenna, LX emblem, sun visors and and a cutoff switch for my battery box. The LX will be a whole new car real soon :D

Interesting body kit its wearing. Nice little score.
By the way for anyone who was wondering, This body kit is called the spyder body kit, and it came on a few years of saleens (87-89 or 88-90 or something like that) Apparently its worth quite a bit of money because nobody makes it aftermarket. So pretty neat to have :D and the guy I bought it from definitely had no idea what it was or where it came from

For the most part yea! :) my hatch carpet, and sun visors came in today from AM. I've got one more door panel insert to paint and then that's it!! It looks pretty good

Nice find man! Seeing your other car that one will be bad ass too Im sure!

Thanks bud. I've had it for a few months now, it's definitely making progress. It's 7 tenths quicker in the 1/8th then when I first bought it and the ugly red interior is history. It's starting to come together, I just need the time to install the rest of the stuff I have waiting for it lol.
