What did you do to or with your Mustang today?

I stripped them with Citrus Strip, then rubbed them down with fine steel wool. Finally I polished them with White Dimond. I wipe them down before every cruise

Was that a hand or mechanical polish, My 65 has 5 slot mags with some sort of clear coat that is just starting to fail after about 10 years so I will probably have to do the same as you did. Thank you for the info.

The Citrus Strip will take the clear coat off. It’s a non-toxic chemical stripper used for furniture but its worked great on my wheels. Mine had turned the wheels yellow. The steel wool was the most fine you can get and I had worked that. The White Dimond polish is a liquid and I used a foam polishing ball on a drill. I tried to stay very easy on them until I could see what it was going to do to them. Try a small area on the inside of the wheel before you go hog wild on the outside. I hope this helps and I look forward to seeing how your turn out.
 
Was busy but this morning went and removed the original brake booster to replace with the 93 cobra unit. The original definitely has seen better days at 40 years old.

Is that big boy going to fit in that tight space? LOL. The worse pat of that has got to be getting under the dash but at least the seat is easy to remove. I hope it works as you expect.

Luckily I have almost no interior right now other than the dash. Still sucked lol. I’m also going to take off the intake and that should help. Definitely a lot of cables and hoses for the 2.3 turbo there.
 
Nice, those SVO cars are special and need to be kept around. About 1990 our local credit union had a repo Turbo Capri and since our credit wasn't stellar, they were going to sell it to us at what was owed plus fees. They let us have it for two days and I had an exhaust leak fixed, so that turbo came back to life. It had 88k on it and was still decent in appearance, my wife didn't mind it was a manual as it had great A/C. We went in to sign the papers but apparently at the very last minute, the owner came up with the money and we were disappointed, but it was still a fun couple of days and when that turbo spooled up, you would think it had a V-8.

Yeah I’m excited to get it together hoping for 300 crank HP when I’m done.
 
That is a big booster! I don’t think it would fit in my 82. I replaced mine a few years ago when I brought the car out of 15 years of garage storage. I went through a lot of systems to revive my car. I can’t wait to see yours when you have it up and running!
