T5 issues

I just bought a 90 lx converted from 4cyl. Auto to 5.0 5 speed and the owner said he replaced the clutch set and to bearing but it has issues shifting like going into second gear and grinding third does this have anything to do with h not adjusting clutch cable or over tightening to bearing?

My 86 GT I had years ago did just that, unfourtunately I think your in for a rebuild,possibly bad syncro.

I've got 2 t5's that do the same thing. Both due for a rebuild. I ordered a book and have been studying up a little Might rebuild them myself.
