original spare tire question B78-14 BF Goodrich

I've got an old BF Goodrich temporary spare tire mounted on a black Ford rim with yellow D9 sticker on it. I pulled this out of a wrecked low mile 1979 Mustang many years ago and always assumed it was the original from Ford. My question is it the correct '79 spare?
