I have a 1980 cobra mustang turbocharged, I'm trying to find interior so I can keep the original, but all I seem to find is headliner and carpet, is there a place that I haven't seen or herd of that specialises in mustang interior?

What all are you needing? Most of the larger plastics are not being reproduced, but many smaller pieces are. Most of the seat upholstery on the cobras and GT's are being reproduced and even some of the more obscure fabrics can still be purchased (nos). You can check TMI Upholstery for seat fabric and foam. Dashes Direct for dash pads. The door panels may be hard to find. I'm not sure they're being produced, but you can probably repair what you have. I dont recall if the interior door handles were still down low like the 79's. I think those are the ones not being repopped.

The 80 and 81 cobras are nice....lower numbers than 79 cobra and the body treatments were nice like the pace cars (front air dam, 3 piece spoiler, rear-facing cowl-style hood scoop, and some really nice graphics. Also, I'm pretty sure the Recaros made their way into many of them....or were they standard like the pace cars? I can't remember. The recaro seat covers are being reproduced, but they're spendy. To make matters worse, the manufacturer suggests new seat foam and installation is better left to the pros. If you don't have Recaro seats, recovering them is much cheaper and more of a diy job, if you don't mind the work.

Yea I have been looking at replacing all the interior so that if I choose to sell it later down the road it would have all original interior, so far the door panels and a new dash is extreamly had to find, I've been looking into getting a doner car for the interior but I don't know if I want to spend that much money

Do you need the entire dash hull or just the dash pad? And are your interior door handles down toward the floor or up high?

The fact that your door handles are up high, the door panels should be much easier to find. The dash hulls are out there, as well.

Are you door panels missing or are they just in bad shape? I've seen people redo them with new vinyl and backer board, but it's usually a lot let work to just buy a better set. If you like, send me a pm. I have a couple sources that might be able to help, depending on where you live.
