94 GT parts car

I have a chance to pick-up a 94GT rolling shell cheap,would like to use it for a 5 lug conversion, how much wider is the rear axle?,I am hearing 1/2 to 3/4 " per side . I have a 92 LX 4cyl soon to be V-8 and I want to get the suspension worked out before I do swap,will be mostly a drag car w/some street miles. Thanks.

3/4" per side. You just have to use a smaller backspace then what is standard for a foxbody. 8" wheel needs a 4.5" backspace, 10" wheel will fit with a 5.5" or a 6" backspace (with a bfh that is lol)
