My a/c was working great until recently. I have a slow leak in the evaporator. So I am going to replace the a/c evaporator and receiver/drier/accumulator. There doesn't seem to be the conventional expansion valve in the system but rather an orifice tube that looks like it goes somewhere inside a refrigerant line. I am assuming this after looking for these parts online. Does anyone know where this orifice tube is located or installed? Is is normally already installed in the condenser to evaporator line and I just have to replace that line or what?
