well today was a alright day got to work on my car fixed a few things and also mess some shit up lol...i changed out my throttle body on my coupe and didnt seal it correctly so i got water in my cylinders and in my oil...i was not happy about that...but wat i am happy about is the engine i am going to replace this one with...a some wat built 93 cobra short block, gt40 heads with HD springs, 1.6 svo rockers and on monday a cobra intake...yes lol...but sad at the same time...but i did get my rear tires a used set of nitto NT05R 315-35-17

xmas came early again lol...got my front wheels, cobra intake and under drive pulleys...so happy now i can build up my engine...just need a good maf and throttle body...

got my 5 lug swap about 95% done just need one brake line and a reducer to make it work. then comes the engine...but my ride looks so good with the fr500 wheels...

right now i am not sure if i want to rebuild the top end on the engine in my car or build the blue short block in my garage. not sure wat engine has wat internals just know the one in the car idles like it has a small cam...not sure about the blue one...plus i need to get a bigger throttle body and maybe maf also

so i decide to go the easier route and just rebuild the top end on my engine in my coupe. it didnt look to bad aside form the water in the pistons lol...but i found that my pistons had the ford logo and part number on them which i never seen before on most 5.0's...maybe someone can shed some light on the specs of the pistons there E7ZE-6111-CA...but i put new fel-pro gaskets on the GT-40 heads the svo 1.6 rockers and just about done with the cobra intake...just need a good throttle body...already have a 70mm maf coming in maybe even a bbk cold air kit...here are a few pics

Ok I saw the same bs but a few things that said they were the factory pistons but to eliminate the bs. I pulled out my trusty "The Official Mustang 5.0 Technical Reference & Performance Handbook" http://www.amazon.com/The-Official-...TF8&qid=1363539018&sr=8-1&keywords=0837602106
And it says right on pg. 196: 1987-1992, pt.# E7ZA-6110-CA, Forged Aluminum, 588grams.

BTW, are those aluminum GT-40 heads?
