I have an 88 Mustang GT and I replaced the stock alternator with the SVE 130 amp one, it also came with a new bracket because the alternator won't fit in the stock bracket. I know you can cut out a piece of the old bracket but I went ahead and grabbed a new one. My issue is when I went to put the belt back on I realized it was too short, it maxes out my tensioner, I further realized the pulley on the new alternator is larger than the stock and I can't find anything online that will tell me what belt size I need. I'm sure I'm not the only person that has come across this issue before. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
