I took off the upper intake manifold plaque on my 5.0 to clean and paint it. While it was drying I wanted to take the car for a ride and it seemed to be idling low and almost stalling. I turned it off before it could stall. Does the plaque need to be installed in order to drive? It seems like it only covers a couple bolts on top so I don't think it's necessary.
