I recently purchased an 89 GT which shipped to me from a dealer in IL. It looks like the windshield has been tinted along with the rest of the glass. Has anyone heard of this being done? It has to be illegal.

Yes. All the cool kids tint their windshields these days. In my state, you have to have a dr's note I think, but then again, we also have the "good ol boy" system. There are two sets of laws. One for the average person and one with friends and family in the right places.
