Steering Column Is Angled

I recently picked up a 1985 mustang gt as a project car. There were some interior panels in the hatch area, one of them being the panel directly under the steering wheel. When I went to put it on, it didn’t fit and I noticed that the entire steering column was angled towards the passenger side instead of being straight. Is there anyway to fix this?

You might could loosen the bolts that hold the entire column to the dash and shift it back over.

Yep. There's a little adjustment to be had in the mounting bracket under the dash. Something to keep in mind if you ever install headers and you're having clearance issues with the steering shaft.
