Have a 90 5.0 with gt40 heads and intake, right now it has X303 cam , thinking about switching to a N41 cam, with this change in cams , would I see more hp gain that's worth the change

I'm curious; what's your PTV clearance, and is this x303 degreed to specs?

My previous forum, I found no evidence 1 cam performs noticeably better than the other with all things being the same.

For the money and time involved, a custom cam almost always gives more smiles per mile... IMO and experience.

I have the x303. It seems ok. If I had to guess, the N41 would be slightly better. Not worth all the effort unless you were already into it that deep for another reason.

The alphabet cam's origin is SBC.
They are dated cores however being standard size is a step up from any SBC cam.
The Anderson ford cams IMO are a skosh better in that design is around the 5.0 decade.

I've never run the n41, but close friends of mine really enjoyed it.
