Proud owner of a1985 mustang GT

Hello Guys just picked a sweet 1985 gt that has been pretty much redone including new magnetic grey paint new interior including dynamat carpet headliner seats and dash pad original block bored .030 over aluminum heads 303 cam electric fans upgraded k member coil overs with 5 lug conversion also completed with a brand new t5 installed. The car is an absolute blast to drive however I have a couple issues and questions for anyone that is able answer first the OEM stock gauge cluster was removed and cleaned however the oil pressure gauge works sometimes sometimes not it does show any pressure at start up but will fluctuate between half way to empty well driving? Also the car has a holly 650 double pumper which I would like upgrade to an EFI at some point suggestions thanks is advance

Very nice 4-eye! The oil pressure issue sounds like a bad sensor. Not sure if you've tried replacing it or not, but it's fairly easy to test the gauge and sending wire. Just find the sensor, located about half way down near the driver's side of the timing cover. Pull the wire connector off and ground it to the block. The gauge should spike. They are cheap and easy to replace.

As for the efi setup, I can't help you much there. I do know a lot of guys like the Holley Sniper setup.
