Installing sound system on a factory radio delete

Hey all! Just picked up my first foxbody - 1982 GT hatch. I didn’t realize some were sold with a factory radio delete. I’d want to put the original stereo back in and wire it through. Also need to pick up speakers since they were not included in the delete.

Wondering if anyone has done this, and what I’d need for the install. Thanks!

For the speakers I'd recommend finding some at Crutchfield that fit the OEM spots. I just installed a set in my dash and rear (1980 Hatchback).

To replace the radio delete you might want to find a replacement center dash from a scrapped Mustang that had the OEM radio. I haven't done it, but that's where I'd start.
