Gt40 heads

Seems like they're getting harder to find here in the states. Not sure how set you are on gt40's, but I've lucked out over the years finding older 302, 351w, and 289 heads that have been worked. I just found a set of 289 heads a couple weeks ago. They've been ported, 1.94 intake valves, screw-in studs, hardened exhaust seats, and new springs, retainers and guide plates. They're 54cc, so a nice bump in compression.
Before there were aftermarket aluminum heads available, the go-fast crowd used the older closed-chamber heads and spent time and money making them better. All these old heads have been sitting around collecting dust since the aftermarket started producing superior-flowing lighter-weight aluminum heads. As a result, you can pick up a nice set of old iron heads for a song.
