1986 Jalapeño SVO

Been part of this and Wickedstangs and have had lots of Mustang. Picked this car up a couple years ago. Probably paid too much for it. Needed a catalytic converter but afterward passed smog just fine.

From there I changed the shocks because they had some cheap kyb for the original valves koni red’s

Took it to Streets of Willow for a track day and noticed that my steering was getting caught up when turning it. Turned out it was the inner bearing for the steering wheel which turns out you can’t find anywhere so had to buy a new column for it.

At the same time I got a momo steering wheel for it

Once that was done I decided I wanted different wheels with bigger brakes

Drove that for a while and then decided I wanted to do a cam and restore interior with new a/c parts Which is where I’m at now.

Then I noticed that my valve stem seals were bad so swapped those out too.

Still need to put new cam in and swap in roller followers. With new exhaust manifold and bigger turbo with the ported lower and gutted upper intake. Also have lots of wiring to fix and new fans to wire up with a controller.
