How to tell if the BAP needs replacement?

Hello all, new to joining but I have visited numerous times since I have bought my fox.
I was wondering if anybody had a easy way to tell if the BAP sensor is working like it should. I am 99% sure mine is original. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated!
