Reverse light switch

I have a 92 fox and there's a switch inside my shifter housing that controls start and reverse light found out that was culprit to lights not working but isn't plugged to anything I think its a backup neutral saftey switch any ideas on where it installs would help thx kinda looks like the tread 1 I posted

Not sure trying to find out from previous owner i think it has the aod because I changed a vac line from the tranny cause it wouldn't shift gears when driving
