Yea if need be I can move it in to be flush with the apron I just wanted the fitting off the apron for if I have to disconnect the line I can drain the cell and catch the fuel in a drip pan without it running all over the apron

I want to put the car back on the ground before the motor goes in so I bought a shop press to rebuild my rearend.

I've been working on my brake lines, I should've just reused the stock ones lol it's a huge pain to bend and flare your own. They're being routed under the aprons around and under the core support to keep the firewall clean.

And lastly, I have the worlds coolest desk chair now :p

One more step closer to the finish!

I remember when I rerouted my brake lines so they wouldn't be seen, so I'll agree it's a pain even with the right benders to bend the brake lines so that they match exactly what you're hiding them under. It looks so easy until you need to do it and then there are times you need to think in the opposite direction to get the bend to work in the right direction.

I went across the K member to get to the other side when I did mine.

I would but I live in temecula, work in camp Pendleton, and don't get off work until 5-6pm.

Uh oh, MOTOR IS IN! we were hoping to finish this weekend, but we discovered that my dumb ass ordered the wrong flexplate. When did we notice? AFTER the transmission was bolted into the car [emoji35][emoji35] so it got to come back out, the right one is on the way and it will go right back in. Then it's off to see the wizard [emoji41]

Car is done!! Took it for some shakedown passes this passed weekend, had some problems that needed to be addressed, so times aren't anything to brag about. (It was spinning its way to a 1.60 60ft with no suspension adjustment though) going back this weekend to see what she'll do. Pretty psyched!

Well fellas, it's almost there! New slicks didn't get here yet, but it spun it's way to a 1.485 60 foot. And 6.641 at 104.6 in the 1/8th!! That right where I wanted it to be. Should be around 10.40s as is, with some tires and a little more tuning it should run 10.30s-10.20s. I'm psyched!
