1982 Mustang GT need to replace wheels - question

So i am getting my 82 GT in a few weeks. She as spent last the last 12 yrs in storage. The car still has the stock 14" wheels on her, those 14" metrics that are impossible to get tires for. My question is cn i go to 16's with issues? or will it rub in te fender well etc? anyone know for sure?

No problem with 16" wheels as long as the offset/backspacing is correct. Here is a link to oem style 16" Pony wheels from LMR. It lists the backspacing, offset, and tire size that works on our cars.
