1991 Fox Circuit Racer

Hi guys

I'm Ashly from Perth, Western Australia and currently building a 1991 Fox into a circuit racing car. Below is some pics of the build so far.

The engine is a SBF 363ci with yates C3 heads and dry sump, gearbox is a V8 Supercar Holinger Dog box with Magnesium Bell, the dry sump for the engine oil is in the bell. The diff is on its way from USA and is a 9" Cambered floater.

Motec M48 ECU running the injection and timing.

Brakes are
Front: V8 Supercar 6 piston mono block AP Caliper with 380mm x 36mm full floating rotor
Rear: NASCAR Brembo caliper with flull floating Brembo rotor

This thing is no joke!!
Is there a certain series you are building it for? Don't know much about circuit racing in Australia, but I loved Australia when I went! Didn't want to leave lol

Hi Mate.
Glad you like the build.
I'm building it for Improved Production Racing, its a category that is very diverse. There are no V8 Fords in the state I race in WA, there is a Falcom on the East coast that wins a lot. The Fox is out side the box a bit, but it suits the rules so it should be competitive. I hope to have it running later this year and have a go at the National Titles in Darwin July 2015. Money is a bit of a issue now, its running out :-(

Sounds like a blast!

Probably not for a lot of years, I stopped in Darwin on a deployment in 2010 for a few days
